There is a “new kind of crisis pregnancy” which occurs when parents are informed that their unborn baby has a medical problem or a disability by way of a prenatal diagnosis. ‘My Child…My Gift’ is a Catholic peer ministry focused on providing comprehensive and compassionate support for families experiencing such a challenge who choose to carry their unborn child to term.
Trained peer ministers and volunteers are available. They support parents by journeying with them from the diagnosis, through the pregnancy and birth and whatever lies beyond for a period of one year. Contact information below. All inquiries are confidential.
