The Holy Hour is not a devotion; it is a sharing in the work of redemption."
- Venerable Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen
The Diocese of Providence is hosting a Traveling Eucharistic Rosary Congress from Sat., October 7 through Fri., October 13, 2023. The Traveling Eucharistic Rosary Congress is a week-long period of intense, around-the-clock prayer consisting of Perpetual Adoration and Hourly Rosary, offered in a spirit of reparation.
We are joining with other dioceses across the nation to pray for the healing of our Church, our families, and our nation (visit rosarycongressusa.org). As the Church suffers from persecution from within and without, as family life is attacked more viciously than ever before, and as life continues to be threatened in its most vulnerable stages, we need this unified prayer now more than ever.
The Eucharistic Rosary Congress will travel to a different parish for each 24-hour period from October 7-13. Locally, seven parishes in the diocese will host one day of Eucharistic Adoration each, see schedule below.

The Rosary Congresses are held in response to Our Lady of Fatima’s call to conversion, consecration and prayer and are offered in a spirit of reparation, for life, peace, and the deep healing of our Church! Hosted in dozens of parishes throughout the US, including the Diocese of Providence, RI.
The Rosary Congress is the impetus to unleash the Divine Mercy upon us. It was the Rosary Congress that preceded the Communist government’s miraculous withdrawal of their restrictions on Pope John Paul II’s visit to Poland in 1979. The nine days that followed his arrival in his homeland, changed the world. We have that ability to unleash the power of Divine Mercy upon our country and subsequently upon the world through the Rosary Congress.
