Wed., 10.05.16: Diocese to host annual Red Mass

The celebration of the annual Red Mass presided by Auxiliary Bishop Robert C. Evans will be held on Wednesday, October 5th at 5pm in the Cathedral of SS. Peter and Paul, Providence.  Father Richard F. Reidy, Vicar General and Moderator of the Curia for the Diocese of Worcester will be guest homilist.

The Red Mass, sponsored by the St. Thomas More Society, is an important tradition in the Catholic Church and here in the Diocese of Providence.  It is an opportunity to express our gratitude to those in the legal profession and other areas of public service and to ask God’s blessings upon their good and important work.   All are welcome to attend this special celebration.
