Rest in Peace Father Peter M. Mongeon

Reverend Peter M. Mongeon, 66, an incardinated priest of the Archdiocese of New Orleans, died Monday, July 31, 2023. A native of Woonsocket, RI, Father Mongeon exercised priestly ministry for many years in the Diocese of Providence.

Calling Hours will be on Saturday morning, August 5, beginning at 9:00 am in the Cathedral of SS. Peter and Paul, 30 Fenner Street, Providence, RI.

A Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial will be offered for the repose of Father's soul on Saturday, August 5 at 11:00 am in the Cathedral of SS. Peter and Paul, Providence.

Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.
