Providence College to donate $100,000 to local Catholic schools in honor of centennial year

PROVIDENCE — President Father Brian J. Shanley of Providence College announced last week the college will donate $100,000 to Catholic schools in the Diocese of Providence to commemorate its centennial year. The gift will include a community service component and support scholarships for students with financial need to attend Catholic elementary and secondary schools in Rhode Island. More.
