Ordination this Sat., June 4 at 10 a.m. in the Cathedral

PROVIDENCE, R.I.— With great joy the Diocese of Providence announces the ordination of Deacon Mark Gadoury to the Sacred Priesthood. Most Rev. Thomas J. Tobin, Bishop of Providence, will confer the Sacrament of Holy Orders at the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 10 a.m.

Deacon Gadoury, the son of Cheryll Gadoury and the late Paul Gadoury, of Saint Joan of Arc Church, Cumberland, has two sisters Rachel and Rebecca. He is an alumnus of Saint John’s Seminary (Brighton, Mass.), University of Rhode Island, Providence College, and Cumberland High School. For the past year, Gadoury has served as a deacon at Saint Paul Church, Cranston, while completing his seminary studies.
