National Day of Prayer

“Exalt the Lord who has established us." - Colossians 2:6-7

The annual National Day of Prayer has profound significance for our country. It is an unprecedented opportunity to see the Lord’s healing and renewing power made manifest as we call on citizens to humbly come before His throne. Together we pray for America, its leaders, and Armed Forces.

Please Pray For:
•Our Nation: the President, his Cabinet, Congress, the Court System and Judges
•National and World Affairs: US Military, conflicts in the US and around the world
•Our State and Local Governments: Governor, state legislators, mayors, and city councils
•The Triangle: universities, schools, law enforcement, firefighters, rescue workers, and businesses/workplaces
•Our Church: leaders, missionaries, ministers, and our church body
•Our Families: marriages, children, financial difficulties, and health issues

“If My people, who are called by My Name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

About the National Day of Prayer
The mission of the National Day of Prayer is to mobilize prayer in America and to encourage personal repentance and righteousness in the culture. The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman.
