Save the Date: Mass for Public Safety, TBD Sun., Sept.

The Diocese of Providence will host a Mass for Public Safety for Police, Fire Personnel and First Responders on Sunday, September TBD, at 10:00 a.m. in the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, Providence.

Formally referred to as a “Blue Mass,” the Mass for Public Safety is an opportunity for us to give thanks to God for the service of public safety personnel and to pray to God for their continued well-being and protection.

This is an opportunity to come together to recognize the men and women who risk their lives to protect us and pray for their continued safety.  All public safety personnel, their families and the public are invited to attend this special Mass.

Everyone is invited to come together to honor these women and men for their courageous service and pray for their safety.
