The Office of Family, Youth, and Young Adults is hosting "Cycle Prep-First Period Workshop for Girls," from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 10 at the Rejoice in Hope Catholic Center, 804 Dyer Ave., Cranston. Moms and/or Dads and their 9–11-year-old daughters are invited to hear this science-based presentation by Christina Valenzuela, Body Literacy Educator, who will help the girls understand their bodies as designed by God and be prepared for menstruation. Parents will learn to confidently navigate these changes along with their daughters. Registration required, there is a small fee per family. Door prizes, snacks, and fun are included!
