The celebration of Catholic Schools Week provides me with a special opportunity to express my profound appreciation, and that of our entire diocesan family, to all those involved in the great work of Catholic education.
To our administrators, teachers, staff, volunteers, pastors, parents and students – thank you very much for the sacrifices you make, for your dedication and commitment, that allow our Catholic schools to succeed and carry on their mission.
The challenges facing our Catholic schools are many, but our commitment to help them prosper and succeed is firm.
May our Catholic schools always be an instrument of God’s mercy, love and salvation for our young people and their families, for our Church and our community!
