Saints John & Paul Parish: Fasting for Life Event

Saints John & Paul Parish "Fasting for Life Event" is hosted by the SSJP Respect Life Committee. Join us Saturday, April 5 beginning with 8 a.m. Mass – and then all day Eucharistic adoration! We'll gather for prayer, fasting, and fellowship as we join together to pray for the dignity of life at all stages!  We will be committed to fasting with bread and water for the entire day, which will be available for all throughout this event (coffee will be served in the am and cheese & crackers will be available as well for those that need something more substantial). You may come for the entire day or just pop in and stay as long you can.  The schedule is posted on the bulletin boards and on the Saints John & Paul website, http://www.stsjohnpaulri.com/.

The schedule will be as follows:
8:00 am    Mass celebrated in the church followed by exposition of the blessed sacrament & confession
9:00 am    Rosary - Joyful
10:00 am    Rosary - Luminous
11:00 am    Rosary - Sorrowful
12:00 noon    Movie (tbd)
2:00 pm    Rosary - Glorious
3:00 pm    Chaplet of Divine Mercy
3:45 pm    Benediction
4:00 pm    Confession
5:00 pm    Vigil Mass
