St. Francis de Sales Church: Parish Lenten Mission

Lenten Parish Mission March 10, 11 & 12, 2025 “Christ the Divine Physician: Hope and Mercy in the Jubilee Year!” The parish of St. Francis de Sales invites you to a special Parish Lenten Mission in the Church on March 10, 11 & 12. Fr. John Maria Devaney, Dominican Friar and current pastor of  St. Pius V parish in Providence, will conduct this year’s Mission on “Christ the Divine Physician: Hope and Mercy in the Jubilee Year!” Monday, March 10 and Tuesday, March 11 6:45pm - Both evenings begin with praying the Rosary. 7:00pm - Fr. John will preach Hope and Mercy as we look to Jesus as our Divine Physician. Experiencing thousands of hospital visits and encounters with the sick and dying, Fr. John will bring us stories of mercy and hope as seen through the sacramental encounters of a priest with care of souls.  Fr. John will be available for confession immediately after the Mission Homily. Wednesday, March 12 at 7:00pm 7:00pm – Holy Mass with Mission Homily.
