Diocese to Host Special Mass for Public Safety Personnel

The Diocese of Providence will host a special Mass for all current, retired and fallen Police Officers, Fire Personnel and First Responders on Sunday, September TBD at 10:00 a.m. in the Cathedral of SS. Peter and Paul.  Formally known as the Blue Mass, the Mass for Public Safety is to pray for and show support to those who serve and protect us every day in our community. Bishop TBD will be the main celebrant and homilist with other priests concelebrating.

This is an opportunity to come together to recognize the men and women who risk their lives to protect us and pray for their continued safety.  All public safety personnel, their families and the public are invited to attend this special Mass.
