Annual awards banquet raised $90,000 to support Catholic elderly day services

PROVIDENCE — Msgr. Albert Kenney, diocesan Vicar General and Moderator of the Curia, as well as chairman of the Lumen Gentium Committee, and John Barry, diocesan Secretary for Catholic Charities and Social Ministry, visited last week Fruit Hill Day Services for the Elderly and the St. Martin de Porres Center, two Catholic elderly care centers that were chosen to receive the proceeds from this year’s Lumen Gentium Awards Banquet.   More.
