April 14, 2022In our continuing celebration of the 150th Anniversary of the Diocese of Providence, we have proclaimed that “The Lord has done great things for us and we are filled with joy.” (Ps 126:3) And as we remember all the blessings the Lord has given us, without a doubt, the greatest, the most important, is the Resurrection of Christ from the dead.
The Resurrection changes everything. It makes everything new. It is the foundation of our faith, the forgiveness of our sins and the redemption of our souls. It is the perennial source of hope, peace and joy for our troubled, weary world.
May you, dear friends, have a blessed Easter Day and Easter Season, and may you always be mindful of, and rejoice in, the truly great things the Lord has done for you. Christ is risen. Jesus lives. Alleluia!
