St. Paul Church, One Saint Paul Place, Cranston will host a Mass Giving Thanks to God for the Priests of the Diocese of Providence on Saturday, March 5 at 10 a.m. The Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Thomas Woodhouse, Pastor. As we begin the holy season of Lent it is the perfect time to lift our priests up in prayer, for it is through them that God strengthens, heals, and nourishes us. Without our priests we would not have the Sacraments or the Eucharistic presence of our Lord to adore. All are welcome to join us for this special celebration.
We recognize that every year the Season of Lent holds the promise of many graces and blessings for the People of God. I am convinced, however, that the observance of Lent this year is as critical as it has ever been.
