Secretariat for Catholic Education and Evangelization

The eight diocesan agencies in the Secretariat provide educational, catechetical, sacramental and formation programs and services which support and complement the many ministries for children, youth and adults provided by parishes and schools in the Diocese of Providence.
 
The Secretariat promotes the evangelizing mission of the church through the following diocesan agencies:  Catholic School Office, Office of Religious Education (RCIA), Office for Worship, Office for Comprehensive Youth Ministry, (Catholic Athletic League, Father Marot CYO Center, Emmaus Youth Center, Rejoice in Hope Youth Center, Mother of Hope Camp, Catholic Scouting), Apostolate for Persons with Handicaps (SPRED, Persons who are Deaf), Campus Ministry, Office for Black Catholics and Office for Marriage Preparation and Enrichment.
